are you saying the people in iraq wanted to kill us with absolutely no weapons of mass destruction? confused i dont think there was any threat there? so when exactly is violence necessary when a govt thinks other countries are out to get them. why are citezens held accountable and govts not. they go oops sorry and we get 20 in the slammer. theres genocide being commited right now by your own country. thank god the media over there is controlled or people would be having a lot different veiws of their own govt because good honest people would never condone what is going on in other countries.

Nor are most democracies pure in any sense - there are legions of important decisions being made more or less unilaterally by people in power. They may be ultimately answerable to the populace (or not), but in the meantime can wreack havoc that the individuals of our country have little or no immediate say about.

corrupt is an understatement. influence or control of money, mail, media, military, irs, tax, courts, commerce, energy, unions, domestic and foreign policy ect. provides an apparent opportunity for massive fraud robbery and control of the american people and so goes forth for the rest of the world. frustrated

i do agree that journalist 90 percent of them are told what to print and condone the behaviors of what you are saying. an honest journalist would probably not get much work.

I respect the soldiers in the Middle East, not for protecting our contry. But for following orders and living up to their responsibility.

I say this because I feel Iraq had nothing to do with U.S. security!!

As a vietnam vet, another war that had nothing to do with U.S. security, I whole heartedly commend the women and men who serve in Iraq.

My support of the war in Afghanistan is strong!!
