Her name is actually Tessa and in good company I still call her Tess or Tessa. A few years ago the OMD song "Tesla girls" was playing on the radio. Tessa started barking as she probably thought that someone was calling her. My brother’s son (about 9 years old at the time) asked his father why Tessa is reacting to the Testicles song that is playing on the radio. We thought it was really funny, so the name stuck.

Personally, I don't think enough consideration is given to the feelings of the father during childbirth - if only the doctors could tell the father to be how long the birth is going to take the man could quietly sip another beer (or two or three) and maybe even have a game of darts to make him feel less nervous and more relaxed.

This would also make the mother feel better as her man/husband/sperm donor would eventually turn up without a care in the world making cute little belching noises (a bit like the baby, but louder).

LILLYLADY: I corrected CjTenorSax regarding the Jews as a specific race misconception. She explained that a teacher in school said that the Jews were a race. They are a religion that can be classified as a "Nation" made up of a variety of races. Much like the "Nation of Islam." She agreed.
Now as to your post with your websites listed, I did look up the origins of the Jews as related to the khazars. Very interesting. It was a theory written based on some archaelogy finds that is not absolutely conclusive. Many articles posted as resources were from the 1950s and 60s. Interesting reading though. But what really caught my attention is in Kevin Alan's article is the genetic research in Part 4 for the Arguments Against the Khazan Theory. Here is where most Ashkenazic Jews are able to trace their genetic lines to the Middle East.
