I agree !

I have never considered myself " untouchable", however, these crimes are actually hitting closer to our homes.

I have to wonder about the conditions of the world as a whole, crime is higher, drive by shootings are growing out of control, rape, murder, robbery......

It is with said regret that I announce the loss of my 12 year feline companion................

05/01/1996 - 01/11/2008

To Kiddy:

She will not go quietly, the feline who shared my life.

In subtle ways she will let me know that her spirit still survives.

Old habits still make me think that I hear her meow as I enter each room, or step back when I drop another cat treat to the floor.

My feet will still go around the place her food dish used to be, and always when I come home, I will miss her terribly.

Although time may bring new feline friends and more food dishes to fill, that one place in my heart belongs to her...........

AND ALWAYS WILL.

I've read the op's thread and many responses and her responses to them.I would originally agree w/ most posters that there is no need to tolerate violence or violation of any kind....Physical or emotionally or Implied through other tactics. Sounds like the op is still a little raw from her situation,which makes getting intimate(in many ways)tougher for her.It can also create a situation where the guy she is with is getting mixed and/or confusing signals....A difficult situation that makes her SO almost always look bad and feel bad.Communication is the key to this along w/time and patience.It will be difficult to deal with in any case.

Yes, I agree. No one person should have to tolerate any type of unwanted physical touch !

I am in agreement with the statement about being " new " to a serious long term relationship and also the types of behavior that each one brings into the relationship that they think is " acceptable ".

I think that those mixed signals are happening in this situation and hope that they can become clearer in the future.
