WHAT IF YOU WERE ADOPTED??
Posted: Jun 23, 2008, 6:43 PM CST

Am doing some research and thought I'd check with the good folks on CS for input.

If you had been adopted at a very young age, what would your concerns have been??

Should you have personal experience with adoptions, I would GREATLY appreciate any and all input.

Happy Monday evening, everyone!
wine And thanks in advance for your input! applause

They never seem to remember anything you tell them. half the time they dont remember what they had told you. And when your hurt, or get angery they really don't understand why? And while they are trying to figure it out, some how they manage to make it all fall back on you! I have 2 older brothers so I have known guys a long time! Guys do you ever take in concideration what we may feel like when you make comments that will hurt? Do you really not know when you are causing a heart to break? Or do you just not care enough.

Re: "oblivious to...hurt:" Sorry to tell you, but I suspect the latter (oblivious to hurt!)! Even when you tell them, "this means that you are 'clueless,'" they seem to PREFER to remain ignorant!! You could adopt a grandbaby, it'd be much easier than doing it the traditional way!

You know the saying that grandbabies are our reward for not killing our kids when they're teenagers. It's true, and I deserve a HUGE reward!

Okay, HOW do I (we) adopt a grandbaby?? I'm all in favor of "easier." I have a "great-God-son," if that is a word! (The child of my God-daughter.)

Advice welcomed! teddy bear

A man and a woman met one day while walking throo the park in the rain.. The woman (being organised) had brought a picnic and her pretty hat she wore it even tho it rained. The man, without his coat and hat looked remarkably like Jack Nicholson

They had a good talk.. and lots of laughing.. .. and decided they would like to go out on a date that night..

When the woman arrived at the club.. she was looking hawwwwt .. the man thought she was a babe .. and asked her to dance.. .. They had farrr too much to drink.. .. and late that night had loads of rampant sex BEHIND the club

Where they were almost caught

3 mths later the woman found she had BUNny in the oven..

But the man was nowhere to be found...

The poor woman waited and waited

but he never came back..

Thanks for the "contains pic's" warning!! Those of us who have dialup are grateful. However, very funny rolling on the floor laughing and worth the download time.

Was wondering whether you think the "human skull" is from a (any particular) CS member???rolling on the floor laughing (I can believe that some folks here have only used their skulls ONCE!! LOL!

Sometimes, I think we could use the "white trash compactor" here in East Tenn.

Have a great one!

Sorry to everyone who follows the blogs regularly, I didn't mean to monopolize the whole first page yesterday. I hate when people do that on the forums, so I should have been more considerate. You'll have to forgive me, I'm a new grandmother, and my baby is more important than anything ! Anyway, I'll just be posting one every day or two now that I'm caught up. I hope you enjoy watching her grow as I do.

Who the F cares whether you monopolize the blogs!! Is anyone else considerate (I think NOT!)

Good grief, if I were a grandma (can't be one without having kids first, right?) I'd be MUCH worse about the pics!!!

Our "kids" all have 4 legs and fur! I envy you, lady!! Keep on postin' those grandbaby pics! conversing

(P.S. I'd rather view grandbaby pics any day over reading Gilly threads!!! applause )

So maybe next year I'll have a whole f_ckin' rant on the N word.
I hope so. Those are the 7 you can never say on television, under any circumstanses. You just cannot say them ever ever ever. Not even
clinically. You cannot weave them in on the panel with Doc, and Ed,
and Johnny. I mean, it is just impossible. Forget those 7. They're out.

But there are some 2-way words, those double-meaning words.
Remember the ones you giggled at in sixth grade? "...And the cock
crowed 3 times" "Hey, tha cock crowed 3 times. ha ha ha ha. Hey, it's in the bible. ha ha ha ha. There are some 2-way words, like it is okay for Kirk Youdi to say "Roberto Clametti has 2 balls on him.", but he can't say "I think he hurt his balls on that play, Tony. Don't you? He's holding them. He must've hurt them, by God." and the other 2-way word that goes with that one is Pri_k. It's okay if it happens to your finger. You can pri_k your finger but don't finger your pri_k. No,no

rolling on the floor laughing Morning, Anne!! Thanks for reminding me of this routine! What a funny, funny man. He will be missed! moping
