solitare: A war on 2 or even 3 fronts is an accepted norm which makes me wonder why the only guerrilla armed force that has defeated the Zionist military under Olmert's direction, Hezbollah isn't yet active and neither are the groups bases in Jordan...shame that they aren't co-coordinating an all out attack on the Zionist State...but who knows, they may yet as the pressures are mounting on them to attack...maybe this time they will finally...

I'm not one for believing in prophesies as such, but surely there has to be something to this biblical Armageddon prophesy. And if so, let's keep our fingers crossed that the "Zionist State" is obliterated with conventional weapons before they have the chance to retaliate with their own ILLEGAL nuclear weapons...
Just heard that they've blown up a school in Gaza and killed 40 more children...Does anyone by any chance know to put a quick nuclear bomb together...? Sure wish I could help that overworked Norwegian doctor down there trying to do his best to save as many victims as possible!

I do not believe in prophesies, especially from that old testical testament garbage, but...I do believe in that there are zealots and other assorted crazed fanatics out there trying their best to bring about any number of those so called 'prophesies' for various reasons, even if it does mean total annihilation by a nuclear orgy of death for all. Such is the depth of their insane bloodlusts, like those US Christian Evangelical, pro Zionists(aka Republicans) that so loudly backed Bush and still call for a first nuclear strike against all who oppose Israel and their being "god's Chosen People'. Right. Glory Alleluia!
As far as helping...was at the airport today for a while watching volunteers come in ti join the Red Crescent and were being flown to Egypt to go into Gaza along with tons of medical equipment. Libya's relations are still off as Mubarak is a US stooge, so the Red Crescent must charter flights in.
Latest intel via Jane's sources on weapons and abilities regarding Hezbollah, is that they can at any time start a rocket barrage into Israel at 3000 per hour with a range of 30 miles. Their rockets are not gunpowder and duct tape like Hamas is still using.
Given that the bulk of the population of Lebanon is now Palestinian and the bulk of the Lebanese military are of Palestinian origin plus the majority of the Jordanian population is Palestinian, things could 'develop' is ways no one can foretell. There are many scores to settle with the US approved 'king' of Jordan which may also cause 'further developments'...
as is said, 'stay tuned for further updates'...3000 per hour. Neat.

RobbieM: Well i have to say "The Mothman Prophercies" by John Keel is one of my favorite books, and when the book was announced to be made into a film i was really looking forward to it.

Sadly the film is a complete disaster compared to the original book, which is really brilliant.

I was wondering how they would get around to the subject of the creature being seen to land in peoples land, and be seen to grab their pet dog and then fly off it.

Needless to say they made the film so wishy washy people who saw it wouldn't even realise that it was not just a paranormal/ghastly love story coupled with foretelling of doom, there is far more to it!
'

Absolutely, totally in agreement! John Keel has also written several other books,ie. Our Haunted Planet is great! Good reading and worth thinking about just what 'reality' really is!
Been to West Virginia where it all happened...eeeeerie... uh oh! laugh

So far, every post condemning or praising Hamas or all, in fact, on all the various resistance groups of Palestinians are nearly exact duplications of all that has ever been said of the PLO when it first burst upon the chaos of Middle East politics and armed conflict in the 60's. And now look at the current status and situation of the PLO. It is "deja vue". I would again strongly urge people to actually read over the entire history of Yasser Arafat and the PLO and its evolution and to also compare his record of "terrorist activities" with those of Menachin Begin, Zionist terrorist turned politician. Two fanatics.
The old PLO and this 'new' one are still an umbrella with many other groups much more 'radical' than the Hamas people, not to mention the several other groups allied in spirit perhaps with Hamas but certainly not answerable to Hamas in any way. These disparate groups are rarely ever mentioned as being totally separate and distinct from other groups, same with those with affiliations with the PLO. The only group totally independent from both factions are currently non operational and that is the old PFLP, arguably one of the most deadly and still influential radical resistance groups among all of the groups against Israel. (Did anyone realize that Dayan and Arafat were related by marriage) Who was Dr. George Habash? )
Whatever side one supports, what ever happened to the ancient dictum of 'know thy enemy'...(???)
If one is going to express anything about a topic, the very least they can do is to know of what you are talking about, which there has been little so far by most. Emotions and actual knowledge are not the same thing no matter how much one wants it to be. Certainly inane little moronic quips, baiting posters, and constant referrals to web links are no excuse from actually saying or really contributing to the 'debates' and certainly neither are personalized insults, character assassinations, belittling and demeaning patronizing, and just plain vulgar ravings of imbecilic uneducated juvenile primitive all with the boring use of the usual obscenities. Savages to just ignore.
Educate yourselves on the PLO and its history. Education is free...a great bargain these days! Today the US news media, especially NBC from NY has been complaining or boasting, sometimes not sure which, that they have no reporters inside Gaza over and over. The claim is that the Israeli military has barred all foreign journalists , and yet we have lots of reports and video footage from various Arabic news reporters from Gaza, in the streets showing the full impact of the death and destruction going on; this smells of news censorship by the US media once again. Another story was that Us news outlets were offered news video by Arab reporters working free lance and were turned down being told they and whatever they filmed were 'unreliable' according to the news here in Tripoli, again this smells of news censorship by the US media as no one here or in Europe have problems with their reporters inside Gaza City...

The guerrillas cannot defeat the Israeli army but they can prevent the establishment of peace until their very real grievances have been redressed; until the entire free world says enough and forces Israel to give up a policy of continual war against the Palestinian peoples and settle without pre conditions as they were never given any legal or moral right to any land anywhere in the Middle East. They are there and they must be forced to finally settle for what the world does demand for Palestinians; Justice.
Ultimately the guerrillas of all the PLO factions were driven out of Jordan but clung to a number of places in the north west. Fighting between Palestinians and Jordanians left a legacy of hatred between Jordan and the Palestinians; they make up over half their population. To the historian, it is almost impossible to escape the resemblance between this vicious gang warfare in the very presence of a powerful outside enemy, and the similar feuds between John of Gischala, Simon bar Giorra and Eleazar the Zealot, while the Romans were besieging Jerusalem. These peculiar psychological attitudes are so unlike the given mentality of the Arabs in other areas, that some explanation seems necessary. Can...could it be that the so-called Arabs of Palestine today are to a considerable degree the descendants of the defenders of Jerusalem against Titus, converted first to Christianity and then, after A.D.650, to Islam..?

This last note on things most aren't aware of, one of the most censored stories in the so called free press in the so called 'free' West, meaning Europe and the ever so called 'free' US, (the Wild West) is the continuing developments of reports filed with the US Pentagram, oops, the Pentagon and to NATO's Secretary General in 2008, NATO officials are being urged by the US to consider a "first strike nuclear option to be used anywhere in the world that a threat may arise." Interesting wording to say the least; especially all the questions it raises with no forthcoming answers...what, that's not 'news'? (See projectcensored.org for the complete list of media censored news)

It is near 1am here in Tripoli all is fairly quiet and all Defense forces have been quietly put on alert since yesterday especially air and coastal defenses...a lot of interesting guests are visiting...excitement in the airlaugh

See, not a single obscenity or temper tantrum unlike so many other posts from what appears to be some very unbalanced miscreants ...rolling on the floor laughing

The continual use of force is a total lack of sound political judgment as is deliberately provoking it so as to continue using it at every opportunity it sees fit to use. As is the current standard practice of overkill. Unless it is an advancement of hidden agendas such as the destruction of the Palestinian peoples which would forever render the entire of Palestine academic. But lets pretend it is not.
Peace can only be gained and made secure and enduring by the adoption of a just, reasonable approach by both sides. Israel, it would seem missed the greatest opportunity after its victory in 1967. Israel's neighbors were shattered and would probably have accepted a generous final settlement. But Israel was too exhilarated by its triumph and expected unconditional surrender. This, Egypt and Jordon were not prepared to offer and , as time passed and they recovered from their shock, they became less ready to surrender and submit. Moreover, the presence of the Soviets with military units there in Egypt, it changed the situation. Egypt did not want to lose its independence to the Soviet Union, but a Soviet garrison was at least preferable to an Israeli occupation.
Two new developments ensued. Firstly, the Israelis resumed their hard line, chiefly in the form of bombing by conventional bombs and now by using Napalm bombs on Egypt and Jordanian positions, and refugee camps.
As time went on, this form of barbarism became indiscriminate, for neither Egypt nor Jordan possessed any operational
air forces. As it proved, intensified Israeli bombing of the Egyptian delta played the Soviet game, for it provided the excuse for the strengthening of the Soviet build-up in Egypt, including the dispatch of ground-to-air missiles and of Soviet pilots. The usual vicious circle continued. The US as expected, supplied more bombers to Israel, who increase the air attacks all over Egypt. The Soviets were thus given a pretext to increase their strength in Egypt, with a view to its ultimate use, not against Israel, but against the Western allies. Or so we are led to believe, but it is highly doubtful that the Zionists within the Soviet system had lost that much control that it would really jeopardize the primary source of moneys to finance the state of Israel...
The result of the Arab debacle of 1967 was a marked increase of activity on the part of the Palestine guerrillas. Regular armies having failed, the refugees decided to act for themselves. Reports of their exploits roused great enthusiasm all over the Arabic speaking, and even the whole Muslim world, and funds and weapons poured in to support them. Unfortunately, some of the guerrillas became arrogant and behaved in an increasingly detrimental manner to some sympathetic governments, particularly Lebanon and Jordan.
In June 1970, the US put forward proposals for a cease-fire to allow negotiations. These proposals were accepted by Egypt and Jordan, and later on, though reluctantly, by Israel. However, shortly afterwards, Israel withdrew from all negotiations, on the grounds that Egypt had taken advantage of the cease-fire to move certain Soviet missile sites. This was never proven to be true, but Israel also profited by the truce to improve its deference. In any case, fixed anti-aircraft missile sites are wholly defensive, not offensive, installations as the Zionist world press screamed everyday, all day.
As has already been emphasized, the origin of the fighting in the Middle East was and always will be the forced eviction of the native population of Palestine from their homes. The US proposals treated the problem as simply as a war between Egypt and Israel and Jordan which could be ended by negotiations between the three governments. The Palestinian refugees, the real heart of the problem was never mentioned by those arrogant proposals. In essence, it was merely a ploy to keep and allow Israel to keep making war on its Arab neighbors.

Departing from my own resolution not to go into detail, because the events of today are still firmly rooted in the war of 1967 and still in the end dominate the current situation and still do reveal the basic characteristics of the disputants but are still woefully ignored or are still little understood by most in the so called free West, largely thanks to the efforts of the Zionist influenced and controlled media outlets and , of course the vast and powerful Israeli lobby groups. Yet concentration on detail tends to obscure the original cause of the problems. The endless arguments regarding the villainies of the two arch former terrorists, Arafat and begin, the stupidity of Nasser and the cruelties of Israel, or the unscrupulousness of the Soviet State and the US have indeed caused most people to forget how it all began. Hamas is simply a mere reflection of what was set into motion decades ago; prime issues never settled and will not be settled until the Palestinian peoples are all dead down to the last man, woman and child by Israel. This is not a war for survival of Israel, nor of Israel against any of it's Arab neighbors, nor of jockeying for strategic positions between the US and any other outside foreign power, nor os any alliance of Asia and Africa against the US. All those matters are subsidiary and grow from one original act of injustice. The origin of all of the current and ongoing conflicts was from the fact that the Palestinians, a pleasant, unwarlike people, were driven destitute from their homes and their country by military force.
It is a very common device of Israeli and US propaganda to denounce as anti-Semetic, Jew-hater, or Nazi anyone...ANYONE who criticizes the Israeli government, even other Semites! These accusations are not justifiable. Israel claims to be a bastion of democracy, yet democracy, as understood in the West, permits criticism of the government. I do not believe that the majority of Jews in the world approve of Israel, (certainly not the Sephardic Jews in Israel, who are descended from the old Biblical Jews for the most part), as a ruthless, colonizing, military state. Many are doubtful or now openly disapproving but cannot loudly speak out, for the key propaganda posts are all in the hands of Zionists. Others have been misled by Israeli propaganda, or believe that "the Arabs" are aggressive and anti-Semetic(!), and that Israel is always in imminent danger of extermination. Yet, no Arab State has the capability of doing any such thing, even if all joined together.

Copy of a memorandum issued by Bertrand Russell a few hours before his death.( By permission of the Estate of Bertrand Russell)

The development of the crisis in the Middle East is both dangerous and instructive. For over 20 years, Israel has expanded by force of arms.
After every stage of this expansion, Israel has appealed to "reason" and has suggested "negotiations". This is the traditional role of the imperial power, because it wishes to consolidate with the least difficulty what it has already taken by violence. Every new conquest becomes the new basis of the proposed negotiation from strength, which ignores the injustice of the previous suggestion. The aggression committed by Israel must be condemned, not only because no state has the right to annex foreign territory, but because every expansion is also an experiment to discover how much more aggression the world will tolerate.
The refugees who surround Palestine in their hundreds of thousands were described recently by Washington journalist I. F. Stone as "the moral millstone around the neck of the world Jewry". Many of the refugees are now into the third decade of their precarious existence in temporary settlements. The tragedy of the people of Palestine is that their country was "given' by a foreign power to another foreign people for the creation of a new State.
The result was that many hundreds of thousands of innocent people were made permanently homeless. With every new conflict their numbers have increased. How much longer is the world willing to endure this spectacle of wanton cruelty? It is abundantly clear that the refugees have every right to the homeland from which they were driven, and the denial of this right is at the heart of the continuing conflict. No people anywhere in the world would accept being expelled en masse from their own country; how can anyone require the people of Palestine to accept a punishment which nobody else would tolerate? A permanent just settlement of the refugees in their own homelands is an essential ingredient of any genuine settlement in the Middle East.
We are frequently told that we must sympathize with Israel because of suffering of the Jews in Europe at the hands of the Nazis. I see in this suggestion no reason to perpetuate any suffering. What Israel is doing today cannot be condoned, and to invoke the horrors of the past to justify those of the present is gross hypocrisy. Not only does Israel condemn a vast number of refugees to misery; not only are many Arabs under occupation condemned to military rule; but also Israel condemns the Arab nations, only recently emerging from colonial status, to continuing impoverishment as military demands take precedence over national development.
All who want to see an end to bloodshed in the Middle East must ensure that any settlement does not contain the seeds of future conflict. Justice requires that the first step towards a settlement must be an Israeli withdrawal from all the territories occupied in June 1967. A new world campaign is needed to help bring justice to the long suffering people of the Middle East.
Bertrand Russell
January 31, 1970

Just in case most of people fail to remember that the so called "Jews" that poured into Palestine after WW2 and all their Zionist leaders, have no blood relation to Semites; they are of mixed Euro-Asiatic peoples, mostly descended from old 'Ost-Khazars'; tribes then located in the southern Russian steppes., ie Ashkenazim Jews that had merely converted to Judaism out of expediency back in the 9th century when given an ultimatum to convert to either Christianity or become Muslims. They chose to become Jews, thinking that they would then be left alone. They are not and never have been a Semitic people; Arabs are Semites; the real Biblical Jews are Semites; they never left the Middle East and still live there in every country. Careful, how one throws around the term 'anti-Semite'...

"Israeli colonialism since the establishment of the state is one of the two blackest cases in the whole history of colonialism in the modern age...If it is true that an unbroken series of victorious wars makes a nation dangerous to the rest of the world and itself, the United States and Israel must be today the two most dangerous of the one hundred and twenty-five sovereign states."
Arnold Toynbee, Experiences

Written many years ago, and nothing has changed for the better. The threat to the world continues unabated. Both countries are dangerous to the entire planet and Mankind.
Zionism is a full fledged disease. It infects certain types of people like both a contagious mental disease and a loathsome virus; a form of mental Ebola, if you will. It should have been declared a mental disease decades ago ; a belief system, like 98% of Nazism and Communism also and its believers should be treated as having a mental disease. Like Nazism, Zionism and it's all too willing puppets bring Mankind to the precipice of atomic destruction. These are beliefs that I find unfit to be believed in. Any belief in something that does more harm , threatens the survival of Mankind is to use an old term simply Satanic in all its evil. Those that believe in it and promote it in any way are but the common enemies of Mankind, to paraphrase Gibbons in his Rise and Fall Of the Roman Empire.

After wading through these posts , most of which I find totally irrational, totally prejudiced and vindictive bordering on the hysterical nearly incomprehensible hatred of Arabs, Muslims and especially Palestinians, both Christian and Muslim. Makes me wonder just how many are possibly active agents of the Zionist disease promoting the total destruction of Palestine in every form possible, then to move on to destroy both Arabs and Muslims all in the name of 'democracy', 'freedom' and of course Israel....
Some observations: An exceedingly arrogant contempt for the past seems to be the characteristic of these 'modern times'. Our collective success in developing chemical, electronic and mechanical technologies has produced in most an idea that no one before us was of any importance. In fact, however, human nature has changed little in the last four thousand years and the history of these four millennia teems with situations similar to those which repeatedly confront us all today, right now.
Another factor essential to the comprehension of modern problems is the realization of the rather insidious influence still exerted today on the mentality of most non Catholic populations of Europe and North America by events which occurred many centuries ago. The 'Old Testament", for example, still profoundly and dangerously directs the psychology of those who advocate an Israli dominated Middle East at best or a Zionist dominated 'World Order" at worst as a means to your country's and your own personal biblical interpretation along with an almost murderous fanaticism lust to always be on the winning side.No matter how wrong it may be seen by others, much less 'your' victims of 'liberation' and 'your' version of 'democracy'. For these reasons, I am not really surprised at the immense number; thousands upon thousands of books written about the "Palestine Problem", which commence in 1917; which seek to justify the deconstruction and annihilation of Palestine and of its peoples.
Words are very deceptive at times. "Nation", for example, can mean the inhabitants of a certain area, which is controlled by one government. This political use of "nation" then has no ethnic significance. But "nation" is also used in the exact opposite to indicate an ethnic group, people all descended from the same ancestors, although not all under one government. The word "people" is even more confusing. I recently heard a lecture given by a Jew, whose object was to prove that Jews today are a "people", not a "nation". He appeared to mean that they were a definite community, though not of one ethnic origin. A German writer complains that the German "people" are still divided up in several, mostly artificially created 'countries'. He presumably means the word "people" to signify a single ethnic stock.
"We" are not entirely justified in laying the blame on the intractable mentality of "Arabs" and "Jews", as opposed to those who are committed to a belief in the so called 'holiness' of Zionism. For a great part of our difficulties are due to this age in which we all live, to the rampant, unquenchable thirst for materialism, the popularity of cynicism and the unscrupulous, murderous politics, which, in their turn, are traceable to the near total abandonment of belief in one God, not some localized tribal psychotic 'god' that is in no way conceivable, a Universal God. For men, if they lose sight of the Spiritual, behave to one another like wild beasts.
Vague words are of particular importance in the Palestine dispute because both sides have and are frequently using them with vastly different meanings and connotations, sometimes with the deliberate intention to mislead, I find that in order to communicate effectively, one must know the not only their own language properly, but to fully comprehend their own words so as not to create verbal quibbles in order to intentionally deceive or not, but to assure universal understanding and comprehension.

Antjo39: Oh yes, you can come back in the near future, maybe in a more technical corps. I can see you have the hero substance in your blood, and of course, the heart-touching and fair causes of your country accelerates the production of that blood-compound all the time.

And if you do not die for your country -oh , that´s too bad...well, according to your wishes...grrr! those stupid terrorists do not even have good markmanship- then you can come back (before going into another future adventure to liberate another country) and have the chicks admiring your prowess and falling in love with your paladin nature.

I salute that and also offer my services as an empirical shrink ... and if I can not treat the case then I might invite you to the jungle of SA (where future US liberation wars will be waged for sure) to visit a shaman that knows a lot about Ayahuasca and its power to see into heroic delusions as yours.

Stay tuned for "Beaverwoman: A Dam Shame!"

Seems that we now have a lost, lonely beaver transformed into a lesbian beaverwoman...ok, I'll try to incorporate that into another and last movie story...another 'feature creature', 'B' or below in rating/ may contain graphic adult sexual stupidity and immature language; both reader and viewer indiscretion is urged.

Beaverwoman:A Daming Shame
aka: 'The Beaver That Challenged the World!'

An edge of your bed Britney Spears thriller and bouncing around your sofa Tom Cruise hysterics blending Bubble Gum Queen drama, Testosterone coerced Romance and drug crazed tensions for a totally exhilarating and terrifying scenario. As the Los Angeles End Of Times aptly noted, "It turns our stomachs, it turns our very own Silly Cone Valley into a land of even more creeping sexual preversions!"

Synopsis:
It was just another routine Navel affair turned into a Naval experiment on the placid waters of Californicate's Silicon Sea.
Or was it? When a trio of sexual behaviorists and therapists disappear, the US Naval base's head of intelligence,(aka Max Headroom), and his trusted indian companion(oops, wrong story moment...), rush out in a patrol boat to investigate. What they discover terrifies and perplexes them: a boat, filled with sex toys, adrift, with one man scared to death--literally--and 2 others dead, mysteriously drained of their vital bodily fluids. There are no real clues, save for an inexplicable jelly-like substance and a giant electric dildo found near the bodies.
Suspecting preversions in the water, they send the gel in for analysis, and divers conduct a sea-floor persecution. What they discover is a giant , possibly pre-hysteric creature that they could only identity as a beaver-woman, bearing eggs...and the mortifying possibility of thousands more.
The trouble really begins when a diver 'accidentally' stimulates the beaver-woman with the electric dildo to life. She has/ is 'the beaver that challenged the world!'

Directed by Mel Brooks, Jerry Bruckheimer and Terry Jones
Roles open to auditions and bribery
To be filmed in locations around the world,(via travel posters) but mostly in downtown Burbank, behind the 7-11 of Willshire Blvd.(vacant lot used for dumping and by hookers)
Oscar nominating ballots free with each ticket sold...

Conrad73: "The Gnawing Terror" still on the loose?

Ok; I'm game, nothing better to do at 10:30 pm in Tripoli !
How about "The Gnawing Horror!" Directed by Mel Brooks
Movie synopsis:
Despite the clear intention of enjoying his watery home deep in the English Moors, the Beaver is disturbed by Man,(mostly young, nubile and sexually promiscuous hot medical types),, this time by a gaggle of inquisitive doctors who decide that he would be better off if he were able to walk among men. In order to grant him, the 84 pound beaver who only understands Norwegian, this new sort of life, the hot, nubile young doctors cut, sew, burn and scrape(shave) the beaver mercilessly, all in the usual name of 'medical advancement'. It's clear that the soon to be Beaverman would have preferred to be left alone to gnaw on small trees to build his dams, thank you very much, particularly by Doctor Imasculinity Testes, who finds out the hard way how much her medical advancement has not helped the poor 'Beaverman' adapt to everyday life among human beings shopping, drinking, fornicating or staving off bankruptcy...
Eerie underwater footage and medical lab footage (and other body parts) and many other unique qualities expected by "Creature" film lovers are here in abundance. The pathos of the poor tormented Beaverman reaches new heights (and dephs) in this all too classic example of the Creature Feature films that have earned suc a special place in the history of cinema and in the pits of your stomachs...Beaverman walks among us...his constant gnawing is horrifying!

LILLYLADY: Solitaire,

Very interesting idea you have posted here!! Sounds like you are ready now to volunteer and go over to one of the arab countries and amass on Israel's border or go into Israeli territory and lob a few rockets? Do you have your bags packed yet? Will you run and hide amongst the civilian Palestinians when the rockets and mortar are lobbed at you and let the poor innocent civilians die in your place? Or will you heroicly stand there and keep fighting until you are shot or killed. Now that would be more honorable. You can volunteer almost anywhere in the world where there is a strong cause for a foreign fighter against the Israelis for that matter, not just Cairo or Amman. Would these people fight for you to protect your life or your country from other terrorist organizations? I sincerely doubt it!! They have their own agenda to fulfill and will do anything to get what they want and at whatever cost!! So go over there if you believe that strongly in what they have to offer you. It could be a one way door for your return to your current home other than in a coffin. You are a very talented man and your loss for someone else's cause would be mourned by many who love and care for you.

It is no secret here or anywhere in Europe or the US about my past activities in regards to these issues, thanks largely to the various media, be it print and/or television shows in which I have taken part in or have been the subject of attack and vilification and indeed, even some praise by some very well known media outlets. Various 'intelligence' agencies have also their own assessments and opinions of both myself and my family as do some of the infamous agents of some of these agencies. Nothing of which anyone here knows other than what I have posted over the years on these types of threads.
It is no secret that I have supported (and continue to support) many mis- named 'terrorist groups' since the late 60's in many ways, as have other members of my and related families around Europe and the US. That support has taken many forms, from money to being in and on those front lines after training in various armies and camps operated by sympathetic countries. "Been there and done that" as the saying goes. We are all quite proud of the CIA's and FBI's assessment that we are "a nest of vipers" LOL!
Others, be they for or against always seem to have convenient excuses for themselves not to risk full commitment to any cause; they find it far easier to ignorantly challenge those on a personal basis in regards to matters of which they haven't the slightest knowledge let alone any first hand experience;(the drawing-room Marxists, Fascists or New World Order types) they are really beneath contempt all around. Far better a committed adversary than a coward with an excuse to avoid a commitment that risks all.
The very least one of these drawing room/ parlor room cowards could do is to join the Doctors Without Borders , Int. Red Cross or hell, even the Red Crescent in one of the Palestinian refugee camps and get themselves bloody from all the blown-up children...

The world is always in need...perhaps dire need of Monty Python humour...as to the first proposal for a film, who would play the beaver ...Rowan Atkinson (Mr. Bean; very British)??rolling on the floor laughing

Film proposal #2
A young (and naturally hot) wife is abandoned by her husband on their wedding day. Distraught, the naturally hot wife traces him to his ancestral home in the bog country,( NO, no 'Beaver of the Baskervilles!)(maybe later)laugh
The Bogs...where amid the swampy marches and scrub with deadly undergrowth, she discovers a terrible secret,( aren't they all...)
Her husband was saved from bankruptcy and death (bankruptcy being all the current rage), by an experimental medical procedure involving serum derived from an 84 pound Norwegian beaver...and now he's developing horrifying side-effects. The naturally hot wife will face any danger to help him, but soon discovers that her love may not be enough. She hides his Viagra till she knows for sure.
Roles are open for who could play whom...laugh
