jampet: i can't say why pain is a problem. but for me it is the less personal aspect of it- to me it's all ( or mostly)about personal connection- if you can't see even their face- even chest, however vaguely, then they/ you could be anyone. In my mind it's only one person so maybe visually shouldn't be important, but that's me, at least until a personal connection is assured. call me weird- you wouldn't be the first
I have to agree with you jampet. Very true. If you can't make a visual contact, then all it is is sex, not love-making.
