About me: I love adventures of all types. I've seen a lot of the famous sites (Grand Canyon, for example) but I can find great things in the most mundane of places. I once took a photo of a pile of gravel and received many compliments on it. Not kidding. The adventure starts from within. I can't stand when someone tells me their town is boring and they can't wait to leave. That just means they haven't explored their town thoroughly yet.
Intense. Honest to a fault (honesty has gotten me into trouble more than once). Loyal. Generous (this does not reflect on my financial position. Generosity is not necessarily one's giving of money). Hard working. Underappreciated. Daring. Analytical (emphasis on anal). Thinker. Non-selfish. Goals-oriented. Wants to make a difference in peoples' lives. Enduring. Kind. Patient. Humble (in fact, humility is what makes me so great). Funny, with a dry, sarcastic wit. Respectful. Genuine. Altruistic (I actually don't know what that means. I just put it in there because it probably makes me look good).
People tend to forget that friendship and dating is more about WHO you're with, not WHAT you're doing. I do need to qualify that I do not want to spend 45 minutes at Bed Bath and Beyond with you, (but I will, on occasion). Friends should find something they mutually enjoy, but the activity is not the important part; the relationship is.
I'm looking for: My friends have most of the personality qualities I've listed (and that everybody wants anyway). Most important are honesty, humor (as long as it's not related to bodily functions--I mean, grow up already!), faith in God, and belief in Jesus.
The standard I expect from a casual friend is different than that of a good friend. Likewise, my good friends have a lower acceptable standard than someone I would make my wife. For instance, if my friends don't believe in Jesus, they can still be my friends, no problem. But the girl who becomes my wife must believe. Hope that makes sense.

Anyway, more about my friends and dates: Able to drink socially. Unable to drink me under the table. Does not drink to get drunk, and does not have a "need" for drugs, tobacco, alcohol. Does not do drugs including 420.
Understands that a person can drink alcohol (without getting drunk) and still have a right relationship with Jesus.

Oh, and drives a nice car. Like Maserati nice. Nothing less or you can't be my friend.

Understands my brand of humor.
