About me: In writing a profile, we all know that we open up and leave exposed to a lot of strangers the type of person that we might be or truly are. My purpose behind placing a profile on the internet is to meet someone. Hopefully I will meet an ideal partner who will walk beside me I would walk beside her. I dislike controversy or confrontations but I won’t walk away from one either. In some ways I might be considered a strong-willed person. But I am also soft-hearted and do not believe in having my independence taken away from me anymore than I would want to hamper someone else.
Divorced in October 2004, I do not carry with me baggage from that past. I’m more of a t-shirt person and left the north in 1996 to avoid snow and severe cold but still can ski or don heavier clothes to be outside. I can dress “up” or “down” but might be described as not dressing for my age. Too young at heart for that. In fact I prefer something bordering on eclectic. I enjoy most music and love to dance! I can cook, bake, clean, shop and yet am a survivalist and could manage outdoors, or could be found field-stripping a rifle or motorcycle engine. I learned to water/snow ski at age 8, found dance when I was 10, have owned 27 motorcycles and the same in vintage vehicles. I have 2 degrees but don’t run the norm for my profession and I don’t flaunt what I’ve had or lost. I don’t smoke (cigarettes) but drink socially and yet am shy in most respects until you get to know me. I like to have fun yet will not just run the roads without a goal in mind. Like most others, I would like to meet a partner who has interests similar to mine! I am human, make mistakes and simply seek to meet someone who is willing to go the distance!
I'm looking for: I am seeking to meet a gal slightly younger than myself who has a happy outlook and compassionate view toward life. I seek to meet someone height/weight proportionate as I maintain my own lifestyle. I am never overly critical of anyone but remaining healthy, both mentally and physically is a goal.
Romance is vital to me! I would hope it would be to you also! Be non-judgemental of me or of others and accept that the past “is” the past! We all have had good and bad relationships. I am not a game player and can’t believe how many women criticize men for the ability to not commit. Internet chat is from a distance. Emailing gets old quickly. If you are unwilling to chat on the phone within a week of emailing, in my estimation you are hiding something or cheating on a partner. If so, I want nothing to do with you!
