About me: Right outta the chute, let me say I've never bungee jumped & don't really want to. That's not sayin' I never would as I like to try new things but am most comfortable with baseball games, bowling, travel, games (I measure wins or losses by how much fun I have), movies, music, fishing (I can bait my own hook) and eating out. I admit a weakness for chocolate and ice cream but I try to keep myself physically fit. My greatest achievement in life so far has been raising 3 boys to be good citizens – drug-free, devoted family men.
I’m an average person–the kind that people feel comfortable getting close to. I’m practical minded, have a lot of common sense, love to laugh (often at myself) & joke around but I also know when it’s time to be serious. I require honesty as I believe it is truly the best policy (even when it hurts) & that people are basically good; however, I’m not gullible & tend to be a skeptic at times. I’m not looking for the perfect date–I don’t believe such a thing exists, nor am I looking for a commitment yet–just someone fun & interesting to spend some time with and get to know. If it develops further, that’s OK but I prefer to start off slowly & see if we can be friends first. If you're uncomfortable with PDA, you're probably reading the wrong profile - I think holding hands is pretty neat. However, if what you're looking for is a quick tumble in the hay, you're gonna be disappointed and might as well move on - I have more respect for myself than that.
I'm looking for: My guy should be sensitive, secure with himself, humble enough to laugh at himself; not necessarily a prankster but able to take a joke and keep up some good-natured kidding around. I need someone who's satisfied with hanging out at home but ready to get out and about with some frequency even if it's just to take a walk or hit the flea markets. He should be in relatively good health and financially stable.
