About me: I am a native New Yorker who was tired of running and searching. I am looking to make new online friends. I think way outside the box. I have custody of my young granddaughter and I am raising her with my ex husband to give her a loving and stable home. She will always come first. I am not a martyr, but I want her to have all that has eluded her. She has come into this world to endure things no child should ever have to. After spending years moving and shaking to help in other causes the time has come for me to come home and take care of matters here. In doing so the time has also come for me to stop and just appreciate living. I am a laid back person with a quiet lifestyle. My hobbies include crosstitching and reading as time allows. Now that I am away from the rest of the world I have more time to enjoy the simpler things. I enjoy quiet evenings at home and sharing good company. Life has been anything, but dreary. My granddaughter means everything to me. It takes a village to raise a child. My ex husband and I are raising her together for the love of this young child.
I'm looking for: I would like to make friends, willing to accept me as I am. The circumstances are unusual. It takes an open mind and a willingness to get to know me. Controlling individuals try to change what they don't like rather than accept you for who you truly are. Patience is important in any type of relationship. If I am pushed I will walk the other way.
