Part of me doesn't give a sh*t. Part of me is angry that after 20 years he turned psycho and gave me another 3 year of abuse. I thought I married a good man and a life partner. I know better now.
His new bride has my sympathy and I really am concerned for her though I hardly know her or her children.
Just ranting... sorry. Thanks to all on CS who are out there for each other... I've had farrrrrr too much wine tonight and surprised I can find the keys to type... keep backspacing and correcting... ciao.

I know that moments like these sometimes stir up some feelings we've basicly resolved. I'm sorry that you had to endure three years of abuse, and what I suspect was more than that just in a more subtle form. It shows your a geniunely nice person you feeling concern for his new wife or wife to be. So in spite of having to put up with his bull you managed to conserve your heart. Good Luck! I think that's the hardest thing to put up with, the fact that you thought you had married for life but despite best efforts and years of trying (23 in my case) it all goes wrong and all is lost.
Try as you might to detach yourself, it is not easy.

OMFG, momentary rant. This thread gave me the gumption to do another web search to try to find my ex again. Since he doesn't feel like acknowledging his kids after 7 years of marriage and nobody seems to know where he is.
I'll be a son-of-a-bitch, he's got a brand spanking new website and being mangaged by Gaylord Entertainment.
It's my lucky fucking day!!!!!!!!

My first ex divorced me and went off to have 3 kids with the truck driver that lived next door (they never got married).
10 years later she asks me for the divorce papers so she could get married again (To someone she left the truck driver for)
Like: DUH, You filed for the divorce and now you're asking me for the paperwork 10 years later?
Of course being the kinda guy I am I took her a copy of our divorce decree

You know after hearing about some people's exes my ex doesn't seem all that bad. Maybe since it has seven years since the divorce has something to do with it. Nah, she is still a bitch, lol. Just kidding. I am just happy I am still single. I have had a good day. I am glad she is happy with her job. I have some healthy paranoia still, lol. It is a blessing, lol.

First we heard she had a lease til Sept., and now she won't move in til the New Year b/c of issues with one of her kids.
