This is to all the women on CS, also men ( opinions always welcomed) would you prefer dating a guy who is younger to you, I mean like 1-5 Years. I once dated a guy just 2 years younger to me, and he kept on reminding that I am " older" since we didnt look much like having age difference so it was like turn off . But when Guys date 1-5 years girl younger to him, its so OKAY. Not fair. I discussed this thing with some of my friends, and they say its like this because girls age earlier and fater then Men so thats why its always young girls and a bit older guys.

5 years younger than me is age 18, generally a bit immature for me...but there are rare exceptions.
5 years older is 28, which I'm good with, unless they want to be overly dominant and treat me like a kid...which I'm not okay with.

i have dated guys who were younger then me between 1-8 yrs diff. all basically acted the same way very immature through.

I am a guy and not gay; so I can't date a guy.....
but I have crush on younger girls as well as older gals....and not for someone of my age...I find many of them interesting and easily attracted to me.........

Many people will probably find it odd to see a women dating a man who is younger than them. It is against social norms. I don't think that matters in the least.
Here is my three point check-list:
1) Is it legal?
2) Are we good for each other?
3) Am I happy?
If you can say yes to all those three, go for it. If someone else thinks your relationship doesn't "look right", that's their loss.

But in my neighborhood, they all go roaring by too quickly on their ATVs.
And I haven't figured out how to stop them without injuring them!!

Honestly I think an older guy with a younger woman works better, because women mature easier then men. Like you mentioned.
I dated a few guys who were younger than I. They were beauties ofcourse, but all they ever care about is what underwear you have on, and if they can please show it to their friends... yes. Very immature and self-centered. Not to mention jumpy and jealous.
I am quite a calm person, and I don't tollerate petty shit around me. I simply can't see the use of fighting, so I don't participate either. I look for men around my age, and until + 10 years. Stable guys. But I'm sure there are many younger guys who make the acception...

I will be 19 next month. I would go 4 years my junior or 3 my senior.
Age is a number.
there are no ages when it comes to romance.

I am not crazy about dating someone younger than me to be honest. If they are about 1 or 2 years younger I don't have an issue with but no younger than that. I dated a guy who was 23 one summer and lets just say it didn't last and I will never go that young again.
Although age really dosn't have anything to do with anything. I have dated older men even in their 40's who were quite immature just the same. I think it all depends on the person you date and their personality and maturity levels. Normaly once you get to know someone after awhile you can pretty much tell what they are going to be like.
And that is why I prefer to take my time to get to know someone before I consider dating them. I have learned my lesson in that department. No more surprises for me lol

Women don't "AGE" earlier, they "Mature" earlier.
Women also can keep themselves looking youthful with all the creams, make-up,haircolor,SURGERY etc....
I was in a wedding just yesterday,The Groom was 12 years youger than the Bride, and as far as looks go, they look the same age.
As far as personality goes, they act and think the same.
Age really is just a number.

Age is just a number and it doesn't matter or shouldn't.
My sister has a friend and her dad was 17 when he married her mother at age 35. They were devoted to each other their whole lives.
Love is love and if it doesn't matter to the people involved it isn't anybody else's business.

Age is just a number.
My father has been married for over 30 years to a woman 15 years younger than him.
One of my best friends has been married 30+ years to a woman over 20 years older than him.
My ex wife is 14 years younger than me. We were married 14 years, I snatched her straight out of high school when I was 32....
Maturity doesnt always come with age....
