Okay let me try to be civilized and suggest this:
Perhaps these threads or OP's you are concerned about thought their thread was so enlightening or entertaining it would be welcomed by all the new folks that join everyday or for those that are not here 24/7 like most of us seem to be.
Perhaps they weren't satisfied with the answers they received and were hoping someone with new insight would come along and forever enlighten them.
Perhaps.

Good point,
concerned about it? no just a bit confused.
What i am concerned about is people go through the time and trouble to post threads here using various subjects.
Do you think it is right to have them pushed down and out by somebody who decides to bump 8 of their own old threads at once???
8 new ones maybe but 8 old ones????
I think its rude and on the basis i might be wrong i decided to ask that question.

Hmmm maybe just a little too much ego?
Maybe it's personal.
Maybe they can't find anyone to play word association with?
I missed what you are talking about but have seen enough of your posts to know you don't make a mountain out of a mole hill so there must be something to it.

Well i went online tonight and saw most of the first half of the thread page with 8 old bumped threads from the same member.
I just thought it was sad to see other members threads struggling to get the chance to survive.
Guess its time for me to let go now

i dont understand why its ok to bump someone else's thread
but not your own?
sometimes there is someone's post you may want to respond to there
or maybe you just thot it was funny
i do it
most vets do it
so what?
to me this seemed a silly topic to build a thread on but to each his own
i dont understand why people use phrases to sposedly diffuse their comments when they end up being kinda rooood anyway?
whats wrong with just sayin somethin bugs ya?
after a while it became clear who you were talkin about
so why say 'no offense'?
"no offense, but" is a most overused and insincere phrase in my opinion
id rather state my opinion openly and address the fallout,
which usually saves a chance at friendship
maybe we should have a why do people do this thread-
itd be kinda like the good news bad news thread today which was pretty entertaining
