Hillary Clinton is the best choice we have for President, especially considering that she has a former president of the USA behind her.
At the end of his term, Bill handed the country a surplus budget, to which now has translated into trillion dollar deficit. The country enjoyed economic growth, and we actually still had favorable standing with the rest of the world. She would be tough against terroism, and would be compassionate to the rest of the worlds problems......and she would have Bill to possibly send to the middle east to help negotiate an end to yet another American military folly. Obama is definately for America as well, but not untested, without experience, we already know whos waiting in the wings with Hillary....who does Obama have?

lets see my friend is a transmission mechanic, hes been married 20 years, when hes sick I do not ask his wife to do the repairs.

Does anybody forget that just like donations to a election fund favors are rewarded... Hillary chose to be the good married wife despite her husbands multiple transgression against the marriage vows... just how grateful do you think the Democratic party would be if a wife didn't make waves??????????..

damn now people will be happy to sacrifice their soap operas.

this presidential nomination coverage could soon make "crying" a election event.... whos the first presidential nominee to shed tears of joy? anyone? anyone??

Damn Tom Hanks and that movie where he said,

"Are you Crying? Theres no crying in baseball!" could be very appropriate about now.

let the performance begin...

Thespian (politicians)... Five minutes to curtain!!

the show of emotions is about to begin.... God help us allbarfing

If the OP is correct in stating that Hillary is the best choice that this country has, we're screwed.

Is it any wonder that American elections seem to be a popularity contest and that those who may be the best qualified are overlooked or refuse to run? The OP presented a serious, thoughtful opening for discussion, which was met with silliness, mean spiritedness, broad generalizations based on little or no information, sexism, fallacious thinking (the analogy between being a car mechanic and a president is seriously flawed), sarcasm, etc. Is a thoughtful, serious, well informed dialogue considered pointless or is it just too much work? Though I don’t currently live in America, I am an American and do have a right to an opinion, which I hope will be treated with respect. I think Hilary would be the best option because of her experience and because she would have a strong partner. Though he wasn’t perfect, I think Bill was an effective president and I believe, having traveled a great deal, that the rest of the world respects and admires him, which is in complete contrast to how they see Bush. Having a president that can gain the respect and admiration of the rest of the world is extremely important. I like Obama, but I think he may be too inexperienced. I would like to see a democratic ticket with Hilary as presidential candidate and Obama as vice presidential candidate. Then, hopefully, there could be 16 years of democratic policy in the white house.

That is what I have been saying. Beside the affair with lewinski, Bill Clinton was a good president.

He will be there to mentor Hillary, as well as be vital with foreign relations.

I like obama, but he needs more experience.

I know there on guys on here that don't like Hillary, but I cannot help think that she would be good.

I suppose it was Bill that helped her gradutate from Yale, become an attorney and later voted for Most Influential in America twice, First Lady of Arkansas and helped transformed schools, best selling author, advocate for health care, families, womens rights, and human rights around the world.

She was elected Senator of New York and was for the middle class, strengthening home land security, improving intelligence. Against the privatization of Social security. First New York Senator to be named Senate Armed Services Committee, and an advocate for proper equipment to our soldiers, and health benefits and treatment of military families.

Not to mention that she was first Lady she continued to be an advocate for child care, breast cancer research, help vetrans suffering from Gulf War Syndrome, prevention of teenage pregnancy, Helped create adoption and safe families act, safe drug testing for children, against the abuse of women and children writing another book "It Takes A Village", and DONATED THE MILLION DOLLAR PROCEEDS TO CHILDRENS CHARITIES.

She also wrote her own biography "Living History", which was another BEST SELLER!

She is not just another stupid women. She is no slouch!conversing
