You don't always have to forgive someone for cheating - it's a rotten thing to do someone - and they don't deserve forgiveness for being a source of pain in your life. The one you have to learn to forgive is yourself for being the victim - the other person will carry that guilt for the rest of their life. You musn't --- you have to start each new relationship with trust --- trust yourself to love again - not everyone out there is out to hurt someone --- besides, I have found that time wounds all heels, and living well and happy is the best revenge!

yes...it sounds very familiar... i always use to forgive though never go back to those who cheated on me...you will never be able to forget unless you meet the right person that helped you smile again and never think of bad things from the past
there permanently exists the risk of being cheated...but we really need to rise up. there is no use living in fear and hatred and doubt damn...life is much too short for that (i keep reapeating that to myself as often as possible lol )

It would take me a while to forgive. I don't hold grudges very long (a day or 2 is enough).

But I would most likely never talk to them again and just move on for sure. If I see them or pass them by, I'll say "hello" but move on....A cheater has no room in my life.

Some things you do not forget!

If you get shot, stabbed, any kind of operation, a heart attack, if you go blind, cancer, your home burns down, getting cheated on & a million other things...................

leaves a scar,,

I must admit,, I did cheat once

I used my left hand once and my right hand never forgave me

My husband of ten years cheated , and he used that excuse that a blowjob isn't sex.
Since we had 3 kids , I did give him another 6 months chance. Then I found out more going on elsewhere, so he lost me and his kids!!!

You do not have to forgive... You can hold on to that resentment and the pain that goes with it for as long as you choose.
