If you cheated?

Yea, cause.. thats your responsibility to fess up and not waste any of your partner's time on a facade. When and if you exposed later it'll be a waste of effort both ways.

Its a matter of respect.. and if you two actually give a shit about one another.. you MIGHT be able to get over it.

If not.. "shit happens" (if this is the love of your life.. you fucked that up)

Other stuff? Don't lie the more you tell they gain momentum.

2. Why can't we all just get along?

Why must men go batshit crazy everytime some other guy comes on to your girl?

Its understandable if the manner in which she is engaged is threatening or deliberately intrusive on personal space.. otherwise.. just.. chill.

How does this have anything to do with associating with women?

Curbstomping someone over a glance ain't going to be the makings of a nice relationship and anyone with a short fuse to violence in a domestic setting spells trouble.

Recognize and manage yourself.

3. Take a book from those technical help people from the various cell phone companies.

Preemptively apologize. (say your sorry before the other person gets mad or even if you think its possible they would)

Yeah its annoying from a stranger who really just wants you to keep paying your bill but... from someone you are supposed to care about.. it shows empathy concern.

Not very macho eh? Well I wonder how many women would watch "Rambo" and think that attractive.

Sure some.. but not as many as one might assume perhaps?

4. If you notice you are going to talk about yourself.. you need to allow moments for your girl to express herself in the same context or allow the person whom you speak to... a chance to change the conversation line.

If there is something you want to talk about.. even if this is your girlfriend or wife.. ask permission before just launching in.

You might think that you are entitled to their ears... this is an incorrect notion.

5. Entitlement issues..

If you think just because someone is your girlfriend and your wife that they are a utility.. uh.. your relationship might end or last only because she might want to keep up her quality of life or for a plethora of other factors.

Determining if you have already made this mistake could go a long way to warming people up.

Mind you I seem to make women seem a bit weak in these descriptions but I am picking examples I hear a lot.

6. Compromise

You know why wars start? Its because 2 sides one budge or negotiate. Sometimes this is practical sometimes not.

In a relationship it is advantageous that both persons think as a team. Life is hard for us all.

That means you gotta give without wanting to receive.

Why? Because your teammate is supposed to be looking out for you too. Not because of duty but of also endearment. Idealization of a partner is essential for persons to be able to be happy in their shifting roles.

If ya really love someone you should be able to give up a lot to hold onto this.

When you meet that breaking point... OR CREATE IT yourself... then the machine jams.. and things break... and the fallout begins.
