I have seen things that would make you hair stand up..

I've had a few strange and unexplainable experiences in my younger days.

One time was soon after my father passed away when I was sixteen years old. My brothers were goofing around with a Ouija board with their friends one night. When I got home from work that night, my brothers were clearly upset, faces white as a sheet. They were convinced that something had spoken to them from the board and it was trying to warn them that I was in danger.

Under ordinary circumstances, I would have laughed it off, but they told me things that this "entity" had told them. Things they had no way of knowing about me. The more they spoke, the more freaked out I became. I had told no one of these things, how could anyone have made this up?

I don't know who, what, how this message came to be, but I took the warnings seriously and made some changes in my life that day.

I have not actually seen a ghost but did work in a nursing home that was haunted, which a lot of strange things happened to the residents.

We lived in a 300+ year old house when I was growing up. There was an Antique Lamp my Mother was particularly fond of. It was usually, strategically placed on the organ, next to a table which was on a 90 deg Angle to a dark spot.

We all, Dad and Kids had a habit of moving that lamp for more light. Mom did not really want any of us moving the lamp b/c she did not want it broken.

One day, while lecturing us all, once again about the lamp and that she wanted it only in the safe place she picked for it, The lamp suddenly moved from the organ to the table in by itself.

After the shock of what we'd seen, well, Dad said guess none of us are going to argue with a Ghost, and the Ghost can stay only if it is friendly. Mom never objected to where the lamp was again.

When my father died he was cremated. My brother picked up the ashes and took a load of pictures of the flowers there. He was alone in the garden and it was a warm and bright evening. When the photos were developed all had a heavy ball of mist directly over the flowers and in one pic there was a man in the background that looked and stood like our father watching him. You could not make out the face. But we all dropped the picture when we saw it in fright. It gave us all the shivers.

I read about a nursing home that has resident cats. One cat never socializes with people as a rule, but he always stays cuddled with people who are on the edge of death. They have gotten to the point to where when they notice him cuddling with a resident, that they notify family members. So far, he has never been wrong.

Like an angel of death. must be a little freaky for whoever the resident is that kitty is cozying up to.

I have never experienced anything out of the normal...not a thing, not a hint...nada...no ghosts around these parts...

The message had to do with a new guy that I was working with and who had an interest in me. He was involved with drugs and was trying to get me involved as well. I was 16 and he was in his early 20's so I was flattered that an "older man' would take an interest in me. He was also good looking and I was in a bad emotional state after losing my father so young.

I had never spoken to anyone about him. That board told my brothers this guy's name, what he was doing, and what would happen to me if I got involved.

I believe it was my father trying to protect me. Even though it was really freaky, it helped me heal to think that my father was still there keeping an eye out for me.

No, it's true....I have seen a ghost at Fat's or thereabouts.....but only one...

Even if you have not experienced it personally, do you believe that ghosts or spirits exist?

I do...I think there has been too much evidence to say they don't..
